A hard copy of the form must be sent to the university. The deadline for submissions is February 16, 2026, at 5:00 pm. After this, applications for the second phase will be accepted six months later.

What are the qualifications required for a professor?
To apply for the position of Associate Professor, candidates must have a PhD in a relevant subject and an excellent academic record. They must have completed the degree with at least 55% marks. They must also have at least 8 years of academic/teaching/research experience. For Professor, they must have a PhD in a relevant subject and have published high-quality research work. They must also have a total of 120 research scores as per the UGC regulations. They must also have a minimum of 10 years of experience at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level in a university. The qualifications are determined as per UGC regulations.
